Future of Architecture

Today we can see that the public space it's contaminated with the technology. Virtual space and material space are merged together into a endless vortex of mutual exchange of information. This led to a society that potentially can have access to everything instantly: informations, places and so on. Architecture reflect this attitude.

Where will this trend lead us?

Our vision takes form at the dawn of the human era. There always been a intimate relation with nature and mankind. From the beginning nature gave shelter to human activities. So Architecture was born, exactly when humankind began to organise its environment in order to create protected places from the adversities of nature. Later on, civilization has developed through various social revolutions and technological innovations over time. And we began to build more complex shelters for ourselves, now witnessing a strong demographic increase, with a vertiginous expansion of the urban area, soil consumption and waste production. This has lead to the destruction of the natural habitats on the earth.

Starting from this scenario, we can imagine a future in which the anthropic landscape will totally devour the natural one, leading to a complete saturation of the earth's surface.

Consequently, an inversion of roles in which nature has to defend itself against human threats has spread.

Short Circuit

This will cause a short circuit that will lead to a new primitive era.In this future mankind will embrace a seamless life with technological devices to stay relevant in this new environment. Like we had always done in the past, we would change our environment again. This new life, in this new environment, will live in a new primitive era: an era in which there will be only wildness and mankind.

Humanity will live in harmony within its vital spaces rediscovering the primordial rites: a re-conciliation with himself and with nature that will slowly re-conquer its spaces.

Hunting.

The lack of food forced the cyborg man to feed himself out of necessity. He will reintroduce meat and other substances by producing it autonomously with the help of technology.

Fishing.

The seas, erased because of previous human activities, will be gradually exposed again. The cyborg man will rediscover water and collect his precious gifts.

Farming.

The cyborg man will feed himself mainly on fruit and vegetables. He will start technological processes of land restoration that will prepare soil to be used for crops.

Cult.

Faith will no longer be a collective ritual but a spiritual activity to be practiced in an intimate and personal way.

Replication.

Reproduction will be an instinctive gesture, but fertilization will only be activated through the exchange of digital codes between partners.

Nature will be the new architecture

Our world it's not static it’s driven by a perennial dynamism that constantly puts everything into question.

We imagined that in this future nature will be the new architecture. We'll not need to build buildings, to consume soil, to produce pollution, but we'll supply nature.
