SET is an architecture, urbanism and design studio based in Rome and London, led by Onorato di Manno and Andrea Tanci.

SET believes in an essential architecture that looks at archetypal forms to imagine future scenarios. Simplicity is the key theme of the entire creative process, from the abstract idea to the design solution as a response to the complexity of the functional program.

The firm believes in a non-generic architecture that is able to relate to the local context and culture through the coherent use of materials, a critical approach to environmental sustainability and new technologies. This architecture emerges as a cultural factor in the local context and preserves the uniqueness of places.

The design activity is enriched by the didactic one and by a constant theoretical research based on the investigation of public spaces, new forms of living and the relationship between natural and artificial environment.

SET has won important prizes and awards including “Young Italian Architects 2018”, “Dedalo Minosse - Premio Morseletto” and “NIB New Italian Blood”. In addition, the office has been selected for  the “BigMat17”, “Architizer A +”, “Barbara Cappocchin”, “Archdaily - Building of the Year”, “Archmaraton Award” as well as being present in a major international publications (Detail, Azure, Domus, C3, Arquitectura Viva)
